I found the main character, Inge, lovable and funny. Her family and their dynamic made me laugh and seemed like a real, if over the top, family. 

The situations she found herself in were wild but in an entertaining and funny way. Think Monty python levels of outlandish. 

I honestly did not see the plot twists coming and this is from someone who can usually see them a mile away.
