Grumpy McGrumperson meets Mary Poppins…in a library…and a soccer field…and they are perfect together.
Holden is so grumpy and rightly so. He’s been burned in a terribly public way and that’s not something you can just get over. So he focuses on his life long career goals as the captain and keeper for a professional soccer team and puts up a wall to protect his heart.
Molly, puts off a Mary Poppins vibe while working as a librarian. She loves books, all books, as one should, duh, but she doesn’t trust herself and grief from her past holds her back from her future.
Together, he is able to see a life that includes more than just soccer and she is able to see the good she brings to the world.
Charlie, soccer team owner and tech billionaire from No Match For Her, is shaking things up to help take the team to new heights and I’m looking forward to seeing which teammate’s story we will get to read next!
