Sorry to say that this isn't what I consider a dark romance. It's an unfortunate justification for rape/sexual assault from the male main to the female main. It didn't make any sense why it had to be like that. Morally gray and a rapist are two different things.
I get the appeal for the dark bad boy stalker story but I was lost at his "god complex" since he supposedly supports and advocates for trafficked victims... But then he assaults the woman he obsesses over and tries to convince himself and her that she wants it.
I also hated the way it was written. The little letters and notes thrown in didn't add to the story in my opinion but they were there.
