i loved some of the creepy some moments but those elements were rare.  it was evident that there's potential skill in horror writing but there was too much focus on the storyline that was the most boring.  i hated every twist,  every reveal, and every character.  the main character was a bore to read from and the message was so heavy handedly delivered,  that it got really corny. its poor writing to have to repeatedly spell out what the lesson learned was. it felt like a cheesy tv special.  i also didn't like the final explanation of the mystery because it's such a negative sterotype.
