Moronova just throws you into the story and let’s it RUN! The action that happens from the beginning, the unknowning of what is happening, really immerses you into the story. There are alternating POVS of 4 characters, all with tortured souls that you follow on this earth shattering adventure. 

While this is just part 1, it felt a little rushed at times with possible story gaps but overall the concept of the Shadows is so intriguing. 

The story is dark and gory, please read the trigger warnings.
