Hawkeye, Vol. 1: My Life as a Weapon
by Matt Fraction
I've fallen in love.
I've been meaning to read Hawkeye for a long time now---everything I'd heard about it was so good. I finally bit the bullet, ponied up the cash, and got my hands on it, and now, dear Reader, I am in love. Snappy dialogue? Check. Kickass Kate Bishop? Check. Adorable dog companion? Check. But most of, David Aja's art? Check. Although I'm not a fan of the art in the second half of the volume (like, nope), the first half just made me stare with my mouth wide open. I love this style so goddamn much.
