Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

Ok I’ll admit, it’s not a favorite book for me. HOWEVER I can’t just ignore this masterpiece and the masterclass Taylor Jenkins Reid gives whenever she writes a book. I love how nuanced all of her characters are, how raw and real. The plot twist at the end… I loved that she plays with such small details that change the entire story, but also it doesn’t take the focus out of the plot and what we’d read up to that point. I like this one best over seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo, I guess it’s probably because of the audiobook. I should give Evelyn Hugo another try in the audiobook format and in English (I read it in Portuguese). Talking about audiobooks: what a PERFORMANCE this full cast was. The voice actors were so good! I could feel every emotion being felt which made the book much better in my opinion.

I think this book will grow on me with time. Maybe it might grow to be a favorite. I honestly hope it will.

Also, I literally listened to SIX HOURS (very fitting, huh?! Haha) of this audiobook in one day. Literally couldn’t put it down. Thank goodness today is Saturday hahahah

Ps: can I just say Camila is amazing? I think she is one of my favorite characters of all time. That woman is SUPERB
