It was not a bad book, but I prefer reading alpha-shifter romances where they are the alpha. I got this free from Stuff Your Kindle Day, and it was not a bad read. I am in a slump and need easy reads to cleanse my pallet. Considering I have read a lot of these types of books the last week, I will say that the plot was okay, and the romance was not super insta-lovey. Their relationship had some growth, and the MMC did grow as a character. He learned that love does not make you weak. I think the FMC also learned to trust in herself and to stand up for herself, which I enjoyed. I just hated writing sometimes. The dialogue did not flow sometimes, and some of the characters were unnecessary.
