The good, the bad, and the hope

The rundown:
The premise of this book is something like twilight meets avatar (the james Cameron one). Cassiopeia is a young woman who has lost her mom and is now hurtling towards a new earth with her father. Tragedy strikes and Cassie know finds herself trying to figure out what happened. An unexpected love connection , a funny best friend, and a mission to save earth and her new friends from destruction ensues.

The good:
The author does a good job Describing the multi dimensional world and their interactions. And I really enjoyed the basic premise of the story.

The bad:
I found it dull at times and the romantic triangle + 1? Is confusing to say the least and predictable. The “bad guys” are 1 dimensional and just obsessed with money and power. I was hoping that there would be more in the book honestly finish too quickly.

The hope:
Here’s to hoping that the author in the rest of the series develop the “bad” characters a bit more, Clarifies up the confusing love triangle +1, And in general differentiate this world for that of avatar.
