Pretties
by Scott Westerfeld
Once again, wish I had read this when I was younger. But wow. Tally really did change. I kept wanting her to say certain things or act a certain way and she didn't at all. The reader is obviously supposed to fall for Zane, as we did with David in the first book, but it never really happened for me. From his first scene in the book I found him to be pushy and selfish. I was waiting for it to turn out that he was a spy the whole time. And the end? .. kay. Whatever.
