The Baby Dragon Cafe by A.T. Qureshi
5.0
All Saphira has ever wanted to do is to own a baby dragon cafe, and now she is finally living her dream. This book was so cute and cozy. It read like a warm hug from a mischievous baby dragon. I loved the relationship that grew between Saphira, Aiden, and Sparky, even though both Aiden and Sparky had a bit of a tussle at the beginning. I loved living in this world with dragons and other mythical creatures, but otherwise set in a small town. I loved seeing the changes that Aiden went through as he worked through his grief and the complexity of raising a mischievous, snarly, biting baby dragon it was so funny that for all the protesting that Aiden made over Sparky, Sparky was just the dragon version of Aiden, soft only for his family and Saphira. This book has grumpy/sunshine, single dad (a baby dragon totally counts), he falls first, fated mates (dragon bonding counts), fake relationship (just a small fib really), and only one bed. I can’t wait to read the next one!
