Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

5.0

This book had been on my list for years and when I finally dive in, I immediately understood why so many friends had suggested it as a must-read. The visual descriptions of the North Carolina coast come alive with each page and the story is utterly captivating. I re-read the last page four times— it’s rare that a book shocks me in the end as much as this one and I loved every second of it.
