This book is amazing, it’s wonderful and it’s everything in between. I ADORED RENATO. He’s so hot and so endlessly charismatic. He is such a perfect character who balanced being a badass who’s so self-assured and so secure in his masculinity and his ability to let go and be vulnerable and be real about his feelings. I LOVE HIM. And I also loved Charlie a lot, I loved her insistence on surviving and on fighting for her life and dreams. I loved how she learned to let her guard down with Ren. I loved her love and adoration for him that flourished steadily. You know what’s the only thing I despised like the plague? LUCY. That brat needs a butt-kicking, maybe that will teach her some manners and some gratefulness. Her sister sacrificed herself and her future for her throughout their entire lives together and all she did is get her into trouble, be harsh with her, and be ungrateful. I hated her with a passion. She was unbearable. I don’t know how Charlie dealt with her because if I were in her place and sacrificing so much for someone and they’re so ungrateful about it I’d have stabbed her.
