The Eternal War by Alex Scarrow
5.0
Even though this has to be my least favourite book in the series, I find I cannot rate it any less than 5 star. I enjoyed it much more re-reading it.
In this novel we see how one man's influence can affect the world in such a huge way that the world is practically in ruins without him. That one man being president Lincoln.
So many things that I loved in this novel. I love that all the timeriders are in the same time. For once the girls are put in danger. I love the detail it went into describing alternate new york and I was surprised to find that I actually cared about what happened to the new characters introduced in this story.
I felt like it got a bit bogged down in the politics at certain points but not enough to put me off.
I am re-reading all the TR series again, as at some point I hope Mr Scarrow will follow through on his statement for a timeriders 10!
