This is the second book and simutaniously, the second best. The relationship are improving so much and the cliffhangers got me in a chokehold. Now, I'm ngl but this did drag a bit just because of

Oakley being unable to leave Zade's penthouse </spoiler > and the fact that he's being so distant, because he has to scarifice her so he doesn't want to get close.
The third book is what got me hooked 100%.....
