bridgit 's review for:
To All the Boys I've Loved Before
by Jenny Han
This book is an emotional rollercoaster. Normally I would think that it's silly and annoying but right now I'm in the mood for silly and annoying teen-drama so I really liked it.
I decided to read it when I finished The Strain Trilogy and I craved something lighter after those books. :'D
At first I thought 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' is going to be boring and then it started to get interesting. And then I thought I was right at the first time and it's really going to be boring but then it turned out to be really interesting after all.
I didn't completely understand the characters' actions many times. Like, why does Lara Jean care this much about what other people think? I can relate to her in a way, though... It's hard when you think you feel something and after some time you have to realize you were wrong. That's sucks when even you don't know what you're feeling.
Basically I rooted for Josh but this Peter kid maybe isn't as bad as he seems.
I wasn't surprised at the end, I knew who send out the letters and why, it was so obvious!
By the way, I laughed out loud at several times.
I like the cover, it's really cute (but not in a quirky way!)
So.. 4.5 stars! Can't wait to read the sequel!
