The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

A breathtaking novel that keeps you on edge

I've wanted to read this for a long time and I wasn't disappointed. The concept is very well thought and thoroughly put together. The main character is mesmerising and very smart and interesting. Being in her head is very pleasant and allows us to really feel what she feels. The emotions soar and I was very moved by the events. This dystopian novel is gut-twisting, scary, powerful and beautiful. Even though I'd watched the movie the week before, I didn't feel like I knew everything because its a very different approach since we're inside Katniss' head and it was amazing.

I loved it, can't wait to read the next one
