I was thinking this was more of a 3.5 star for me, but then I did stay up late to finish it. Cal is definitely one of the more abrasive alpha males in this series so far. Neither he nor Jane are very likable at first, but that changes as their relationship deepens. They had a weird sense of humor that helped to humanize them. Loved the side story with Cal's parents, Jim and Amber Lynn and wish there had been more done there.
