This book was absolutely wonderful. The
supernatural twist with the mushrooms was something completely unexpected going into the book. I was expecting vampires based on context clues, but nope. Fungus. It was a very welcomed twist.
I didn't love Noemí, but I feel she was written in a way that matched her class and time period. There were things that bothered me: such as her being sent to check in on things in a creepy home by herself that brought the rating down a bit, but overall, absolutely fantastic read.
