Serenading Heartbreak

I admit that I read an unfavourable review before reading this, and I wasn't sure how I was going to feel myself about how this story ended. It turns out that I'm probably going to be forever torn by the outcome of Stevie's love triangle story, but let's just say I loved Aidan probably more than I loved Everett, sooo ... maybe that says it all?
I felt like this was a really well-written story, and that frustration of Stevie constantly going back and forth, and constantly getting, is actually quite realistic when it comes to certain love stories in reality. I found it relatable in a sense, but I also know that just because it's relatable doesn't mean we have to love how it makes us feel as readers.
There's no question I can understand why some people had a problem with this read. For me, I'd say it's one I'll never read again simply because it wasn't pleasant for much of the time. But I'd love to read Hendrix's story, and see if he ends up with the bestie. ;) I'd also love to see happily ever after.
