Another great adventure in the Hollows series! What I love about these books is that they have multiple adventures piling on multiple adventures. Rachel Morgan really cannot remain still or slow down for any length of time.
The story puts Rachel's views on demons to the test as Hodin and his trickery make things difficult. Add in some challenges with vampires, a new intruder to the church garden, and Rachel's new side job, and you are in for a wild ride. Harrison works with each plot and ties them together in thrilling and enjoyable manner.
Rachel continues to be as fiery and powerful as ever. She faces new challenges and drama, but she never backs down or gives up. I truly enjoyed seeing her interact with characters both new and old.
I'm a long time fan of the Hollows, so it's great to see Harrison bringing in new elements and challenges for her heroes while maintaining a sense of immersion and creativity to her world. I can't wait for the next book!
