The Oath of the Vayuputras by Amish Tripathi

3.0

When I started reading the first book, I loved how the characters were built and though language was a little challenging with multiple Sanskrit words used characters were etched in a way that they sounded like people living with you but as I got to the final book, I’ve noticed that there was so much influence of Bollywood. The characters becoming one dimensional, good guys becoming bad guys and vice versa. But, this is still a great one time read and has of life lessons one can learn from many characters. I seriously feel that this can be a great story for an Indian movie. Second book was best off all with much suspense carried through and unfortunately I’m not able to rate it more than 3. And, I’ll continue to read Amish’s other books.
