A basic fantasy. The reveal is obvious I can’t imagine anyone not knowing it. That’s fine a story can still be good without being shocking, but this one just wasn’t. I also thought it would be darker than it was. I thought her mate would steal her and take her to the fae realm, but she never even sees it. It’s just traveling through the woods. The beginning with her brother was really slow too. I probably won’t be reading the next one.
