This was the type of book that I wondered why I hadn't read it sooner. I had so many people recommend it to me and I bought it over a year ago, but it has sat on my TBR pile.
It's deep, emotional, funny, quirky, thought-provoking, surprising, shocking...really, just a bit of everything in a very unique story. I can't think of anything quite like it. I don't want to say too much about the plot, as I think it is the type of story that is best discovered as you go along for the ride.
There is an exceptionally poignant scene between Phoebe and Willis that had been in tears.
I'm eager to watch the television adaptation to see how they could possibly translate this to a different medium.
