Refuge by Karen Lynch

I really only started this because I thought the first book was kind of cute but needed a little bit of fleshing out. I thought this book would afford the story the fleshing out it needed, but instead it sees our protagonist trapped in a brand new setting with none of the characters we've come to know for the first third of the book, making for a really exhausting, boring slog. I was so tired by the time Nikolas showed back up that I didn't feel it was worth any more of my time, so this one's a DNF, at least for now! I may try again another time, but I really just wasn't feeling it.
