It starts off strong, but the narrator's crass soliloquizing gets tiresome. Found it hard to concentrate on or even care about what was happening after the first 100 pages or so. If you asked me what happened in it now, a couple of months after finishing the book, I could maybe recount a couple of events, but most of it has entirely evaporated from my memory.
