The Kissing Booth by Beth Reekles
3.0

I liked the book. There were a few things that annoyed and frustrated me throughout the book. The first problem when I was reading was just that I was irritated with Elle (Rochelle, Shelly, however, you want to put it) calling Noah "stupid violence junkie". It was just weird for her calling him that, which felt like every few pages. The second thing that irritated me as well was that the book kept repeating certain scenes over and over again, but it did start on Wattpad, and in stories like those they tend to repeat themselves. An example of this would be when Noah and Elle would have the "cute little arguments" about Elle calling Noah "cute" and how he hated it. Noah got on my nerves a lot in the book because, from the description of how "overprotective" he was, it felt like Elle couldn't live at all. Couldn't have guy friends (except Lee, really), which I don't really understand. I wish though that the author, Beth, could have expanded more on certain parts. Like it quickly skipped to another scene, when Lee and Elle were at the restaurant with their family for their birthday. There was little about Lee and Elle's interaction, but more about her and Noah's interaction with each other, so I just wish she expanded more on that part. This is just an example out of many though of me noticing many parts I wish went more in-depth instead of quickly going to a different scene. One good thing I can say about this book is just that I love Lee so much and he is so chill. I would be friends with Lee. Anyways, I still kept reading the book, it was just that there were a lot more cons than pros when reading this book, unfortunately.
