I think it's time to accept that I'm just not really that into short stories. Nevertheless, this is definitely one of the best anthologies of short stories I've read in recent years. I started this book while I was traveling, and lost steam halfway through, so it's taken me quite a while to finish it, but there were quite a few stories in this book that I really enjoyed.

The different perspectives of being Asian in America is really interesting, and it was great reading about the various struggles and experiences Chinese Americans go through throughout their lives. Even though I'm not Asian, myself, I felt like I could really relate to each character.

Overall, a great read, especially if you like books with social commentary.
