Addicted to Mediocrity: Contemporary Christians and the Arts by Frank Schaeffer

5.0

This man comes after EVERYTHING! I have often found myself irritated at the vapidity of much of Christian literature/film/music/etc. (certainly not to say all; we do have our gems!), and it was refreshing to see that I am not alone in these opinions. It is hard to believe this book is as old as it is because it sounds as though it could have been written a week ago.

On a purely side note, I laughed aloud probably eight or nine times while reading this (impressive given its small page count); these pages practically ooze with satire. This guy is like the Christian Douglas Adams with some of his turns of phrase.

My only complaint about this book is that it is too short!
