Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
The writing is wonderful, and I found it very emotionally evocative. So much so that it was upsetting enough that I had to put it down for now. I didn't realize that material about a terminally ill parent will now be triggering for me, but here we are.

Maame, I hope to come back and try again someday.
