Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life by Bryan Lee O’Malley
3.0

3/5 because tastes are subjective, but also because this is only the start of the story. Art is fantastic, I have the color edition, and the colors pop beautifully. Re-read almost immediately to compare scenes from the movie to the graphic novel.

I read this after re-watching the movie adaptation, and I gotta say that I really like the graphic novel format significantly more. In this one volume I can better see the depth of the titular character a bit more, and Scott & Ramona feel like they are a couple, or more like they will be a couple. Scott is still an absolute dweeb, on top of being a creep for dating a high-schooler. But it's very clear that this is a starting point for character growth, after all, Buffy Summers was not a badass slayer who can handle everything in season one.
