The Boys Who Challenged Hitler: Knud Pedersen and the Churchill Club by Phillip Hoose

5.0

What a great book. I didn't know much about the Danish resistance during WWII (only what I vaguely remembered from Number the Stars), but I definitely want to know more now. This story, about the beginning of that resistance, is fascinating. And it really makes you feel good about young people, who can be totally stupid and reckless and irritating, but hopefully, with the right incentive, also incredibly brave and heroic. Anyone else want to come on my now inevitable trip to Denmark?
