I read this with my 5 year old over the past week and we both loved it! It's easy to read, and the type is large enough for kids to read and/or at least easily pick up on words that they have been learning. And the storyline is super cool: a bit of fantasy, a bit of detective work, and a lot of science, all thrown together to not only keep kids interested in learning, but also wanting to read more. The illustrations are also great, they add nicely to the story. I shall now be requesting the next in the series from the library!
