Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett
4.5

*** Part of my journey to re-read all Discworld novels in order ***

I’ve always been a fan of the Death arc, and Reaper Man was another memorable entry. I loved seeing Death forced into a mortal life as Bill Door, and his discovery of what it means to be human was beautiful, bittersweet, and weirdly comforting. The ending with Miss Flitworth made me tear up.

The second plot with the wizards and the chaos of shopping trolleys and life energy however felt too chaotic and disjointed for me. The Late Windle Poons and the Dead Rights Club had fun moments, but overall I could have done without this storyline.

The audiobook wasn't as enjoyable as the previous ones this time, I didn't quite click with the main narrator (except for Death's voice).
