Honestly you could just omit the romance part of ‘dark romance’ cause I could not get through part 1 with how heavily trauma heavy it is. And I just couldn’t pick it back up knowing the content would get progressively worse. Be so conscious of the trigger warnings of this book because it’s honestly an entirely different tone and focus in comparison to the first in the series. Don’t get me wrong, if you’ve got the stomach for it, from what I had read it was all being decently executed, so go for it.
