For me this book wasn't one of those bawling your eyes out one. It was a heavy one. One that makes you feel that your heart has been filled with lead and thrown into the ocean.

This book is about love, grief and friendship. It is about a 17 year old who has lost the love of his life. The said 17 year old has OCD and is filled with insecurity and has low self esteem. It is about the journey of this 17 year old, trying to navigate grief, heartbreak and guilt. It was a tough read because it wasn't just Griffin's grief we were dealing it. Jackson, Wade and Theo's parents, everyone's grief was beautifully panned out in the book. And soon comes the reader's grief of never knowing Theo in the Today, the Theo who is the joy and life of so many people.

My favorite part of the whole story has been the stress of honesty. How if we are honest to ourselves and our loved ones we can repair almost everything and above all, never let anything break.

But something did make me cry. It was seeing Griffin grow out his grief and moving past it. It's not easy to say goodbye to your loved ones. Grief breaks us like anything. But a 17 year old learned to shape himself by using this grief and nothing can be more tearful than that.
