This book was such a great ride! Jenna really did an amazing job bringing this world to life through Scarlett's eyes.
The world of superhumans was so real and raw. I loved that she explored it from the lens of them being hated a feared (think X-Men) instead of revered heroes.
The one thing I enjoyed the most was the cast of characters. While they thought and acted so differently from one another, I found myself rooting each one on and understanding where they were coming from. This made the conflict between characters even deeper, as I had a hard time knowing whose side I was on.
Overall, this was such a good book and I can't wait until book 2 comes out!
