I honestly skipped the second 1/4th of the book and didn’t miss much. It was so painfully slow and not in a good slow burn way. The second half of the book was fantastic. First half was rough and had me contemplate DNFing it. Skipping ahead was the right choice imo.  Good story but 150 pages too long. Too much inner monologue that’s really not important in any way.
