The Botox Diaries by Lynn Schnurnberger, Janice Kaplan

2.0

My library tends to specialize in political books and lesser-known chick lit selections. This is one of the latter. It was advertised as something akin to Sex and the City, so I was all up for it (as my library co-op has never carried the original SATC book). So, what do we have? Two New Jersey women, one married and spectacularly famous, one divorced and made slightly famous by her well-meaning daughter. Hilarity ensues. Okay, it doesn't. It has its moments, but it's not the greatest book ever. I will say, though, that at the very least, the ending was not just *poof* there, which is the worst trait a book can have.
