This book was confusing to me, probably because a lot was happening (and repeating) and the time jumps were drastic. The pacing was very slow. I think the formatting is clever, and the nods to each of Ursula’s “lives” were satisfying to catch. The Hitler storyline pulled me completely out of an otherwise ordinary-yet-extraordinary drama, and it brought the book down in my opinion.
