I thought this an original approach to describing and inhabiting different times and spaces at the same time. The novel was indeed full of tremor(s) as the author describes and his characters inhabit the black experience both of those living in Nigeria and America. The novel mostly worked very well and was crisply written. I did get a bit lost in section 6 at times with so many different characters. Although a shortish book it would be well worth another read in order to absorb all that has been covered. For now rating it as a 4, but that's might change with a re-read.
