I Let Her In
by Maria Frankland
2.5 stars // This book started a little slow for me and I struggled to get into the “thriller” aspect of it. Cassie is constantly paranoid that someone is stalking them and her “perfect” husband is never believes her and gaslights her. Once Amy comes into the picture, I started to get more intrigued on how this story was going to come together. Amy clearly had some motives for getting close to Cassie. The plot did start to pick up once it came out how Amy, Becca and Jon are all connected to Jade’s death ten years prior. I felt bad for Amy knowing she was wronging convicted for a murder she didn’t commit. Jon is an abusive and controlling husband who definitely got what he deserved in the end, but I was disappointed that Becca got away with murder because it was her who actually killed Jade.
