I listened to Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover on Audible and honestly, it was okay but it wasn’t my favourite. It was an easy story to listen to while I was going on a walk or cleaning which I appreciated about it. The story was really simple, it was cliche and very predictable. There was a lot of “coincidences” that made the storyline very convenient. It was somewhat stereotypical with the female and male roles represented in the book and the narration. Kenna was quiet, soft spoken, small, needed help from male character. Ledger was manly, low raspy voice, saviour of the damsel in destress. It’s not a bad thing but it was what made the story very cliche. If this is the sort of story you’ll enjoy, go for it. I just won’t be listening to it again.
