Cheshire Crossing by Sarah Andersen, Andy Weir

4.0

I was checking online to see if Andy Weir was working on any new writing projects — I'm a big fan of both his novels and his short stories — and stumbled onto this graphic novel he authored, which I had no idea existed. Despite the mixed to negative reviews I saw, I gave it a shot. I found it to be delightful. Was it accurate to any of the characters? No, not particularly. But was it fun watching The Wizard of Oz's Dorothy, Alice of Alice in Wonderland fame, and Wendy Darling from Peter Pan team up for an interdimensional adventure spanning all three of the fantasy worlds they visited, complete with appearances from almost all of the supporting characters of those works? Yes, yes it was. And was the artwork from illustrator Sarah Andersen amazing? It most definitely was. Would I read a sequel it one was released? Yes, yes I would, although one does not appear to be on the horizon.
