Roald Dahl's Book of Ghost Stories by Cynthia Asquith, J. Sheridan Le Fanu, Richard Barham Middleton, Alfred McClelland Burrage, Roald Dahl, E.F. Benson, F. Marion Crawford, Robert Aickman, Edith Wharton, Jonas Lie, Rosemary Timperley, L.P. Hartley, Mary Treadgold

The introduction on this one is worth the price of admission, especially considering that Dahl is now dead and it's perfectly safe and easy to roll around laughing at his astonishment at women being able to *gasp* WRITE. Especially those children's stories. You know women are always better at things involving children.

Anyway ... the ghost stories collected here genuinely are good. There's a nice variety of types, all with their own spooky flavor.
