The Place Between Breaths by An Na

5.0

The disjointedness of the book really got to me in a good way. I feel as though it captured the realities of schizophrenia. As well as the subtitles with the way hallucinations and delusions play out. As well as how stress can make everything worse. You had to really read closy with this book to understand it but I really love it. The heartbreak of having the condition. The faith that there will be an end to it. The way it is not perceived as a deranged violent person is great.

After reading some Goodreads reviews I found the one on the email of another user to the author who explained the seasons. Reading that made the book even better.

Overall very impressed with this book. One of the good accidental finds I came across.
