I liked this book a lot. It reminded me of how I felt when I was in high school when I was 14/15 and sometimes in a painful way, and yet, I couldn't stop reading. Like Tori, I was struggling with undiagnosed depression and feeling very apathetic after experiencing a very different kind of trauma and it makes you lash out and hurt people even when you don't mean to.
I felt very seen and heard by this book and I don't think I could have read this when I was experiencing my similarly sad thoughts because even now it kind of makes me sad and emotional to read about it. I didn't love the plot, or the ending much, but I do love how emotional and understood this had made me feel even though I definitely don't feel the same numbing sadness I did when I was younger.
