I really enjoyed re-reading this book. I forgot how many great details and backstory about lord Voldemort and the horcruxes are missed in the movies.

The memory visits into Voldemort’s past certainly makes the chosen horcruxes and their local feel far more intentional and rounds him out as a much more complex villain.

The only reason I didn’t love it as much as some of the other books just comes down to how this book is more geared towards the set up the final book and to develop the characters out rather than action/adventure/mystery plots points compared to the other books.
