Danny has my whole damn heart after this one! And I thought I was obsessed with him in the first book.... I absolutely adore this man. This one was so gut-wrenching and heartbreaking. I loved seeing Danny's transformation in this one. He really shined throughout this whole story. I love that he was still this broody man with his depraved kinks but also became such a pillar of strength for Ari and literally swooned over her every chance he got. The amount of trauma those 2 people went through was insane though... The only thing I did not like was the love triangle, but that's obviously a personal preference. I just didn't see what purpose it served other than just making Ari's character more unstable and confusing. But overall, I thought the plot was great, the action was steady, and those spicy scenes were out of this world! I absolutely loved the ending, and that plot twist at the end was perfect!
