Going into this, for some reason I thought I'd hate it. That was not the case. I really liked it. George R.R. Martin created an amazing world filled with strong characters. Now, I was spoiled for some things, because I had watched like the first three episodes for the TV show (stupid, I know). Going into this, based off of those three episode I thought Daenerys would be my favorite character, little did I know that my favorite would turn out to be Arya. I didn't expect to like Jon and Tyrion so much either. I was kind of meh on Robb, Bran, and Sansa. I did not like Eddard,Cat, every Lannister ever (except Tyrion), and Khal Drogo/basically the Dothraki in general. There were things I didn't like, but all in all a great start to a series that I will be continuing with soon.
